All Beachbody home workouts are designed to give you results on their own but once you’ve completed a few programs it’s fun to mix things up with a hybrid! A hybrid is just a fancy name for combining two or more workout programs which are commonly used to give you more variety in your workouts. You can see several other hybrids on my blog here.
This is not an official Beachbody hybrid, it’s just something I came up with that I’d like to follow through the holidays and into the new year to help myself stay on track. I’ve completed both the Les Mills Pump and PiYo programs and I love them both for very different reasons. With Pump you get a great full body strength training workout and with PiYo you get flexibility and cardio so why not mash them together?

Although LMP is a 90-day program and PiYo is a 60-day program, I designed this particular hybrid to be 30 days long. Unless I’m doing a brand new program (or Insanity, hahaha), I have a hard time doing the same workouts for more than 30 days. I have also found that my sweet spot is working out no more than 5 days per week. If you’re like me I think you might really enjoy this hybrid!

*I have included two rest/active rest/run days per week that I will choose to use over each weekend. You can use them however you wish, I just find it easier to workout during the week and rest or run on the weekends if I feel like doing so.

Note: There are no rules. I have designed this hybrid to allow for three days of full body strength training with at least two additional cardio/flexibility days BUT do what works for you! Switch around the rest days, switch around the workouts, add more workouts, take out workouts..make it work for you. :)
Forever wishing Beachbody would’ve released a Les Mills Pump 2…
